James S. Quinlivan, 75, died Friday, June 15, 2001, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond. A New Orleans native, he was a graduate of Tulane University and was a retired attorney. He was also a World War II Navy veteran. He is survived by two sons, Quinton B. Quinlivan and Quinn Blake Quinlivan; one stepdaughter, Linda Combs; one brother, Jules Quinlivan of Albany; and one grandchild. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge): 9/3/2006 QUINLIVAN, JULES ALFRED A resident of Albany, he died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, in North Oaks Medical Center. He was 77. Jules was born Tuesday, Nov. 20, 1928, in New Orleans. He worked as an instrumentation electrical supervisor and was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Dianne Daniels Quinlivan; two daughters, Connie Jeanine Martin and Patricia Dene Hess; son, Timothy Clyde Quinlivan; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilah Belle Young Quinlivan and James Simon Quinlivan; brother, James Simon Quinlivan Jr.; and second wife, Loungerae "Lonnie" Quinlivan.
