She was born Oct. 31, 1919, in Clearwater. Visitation at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta on Friday, Dec. 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting at First Baptist Church of Coushatta on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jeff Day. Interment in Springville Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Day and husband the Rev. William "Jeff" Day, of Hammond; a son, Hodge "Jackie" Raburn Jr. and wife Jo Beth, of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Willie Mae Drilling, of Houston, and Mary Powell, of Vivian; sister-in-law, Wanda Simpson, of Coushatta; two grandchildren, Tracey Cleary and Matthew Raburn, both of Kingwood; and great-grandson, Garrett Cleary, of Kingwood. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Howard Simpson Sr.; mother, Stella Mae Gunter Simpson; stepmother, Bernice Ball Simpson; husband, Hodge "Jack" Raburn Sr.; a sister, Louise Bamburg; and two brothers, Thomas Howard Simpson Jr. and Joseph Daniel Simpson.
