She was born on Sunday, July 28, 1946, in Opp, Ala., daughter of the late Ted and Madrie Capps Ricks. Surviving are her daughter & son-in-law, Kathy and Al Vinet, son, Allen Brannon, sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Felton Wallace, brother & sister-in-law, Jimmy and Jeanette Ricks, special friend, Reggie McCue, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Brannon. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond and again on Monday, April 30, 2012, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home in Opp, Ala. Services will be held in the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Opp, Ala. Contributions may be made to M. D.
