RAMIREZ, JAMES ROLAND
James Roland Ramirez, 81 years old of Amite, LA, died Friday, January 5,
2007 in North Oaks Medical Center.  James was born Friday, May 29, 1925 in
Paincourtville.  He retired as a Foreman at Avondale Shipyards
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Tammie Ruth Addison and Carey
Addison lll; daughter, Sylvia Jean Oliver; sons, Jimmy Ramirez Jr.and Alvin
Ernest Ramirez; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lee "Bobby" Ramirez and
Marie Ramirez, Jerry Author Ramirez and Rhonda Ramirez; 11 grandchildren
and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, E.F. Ramirez; sister, Theresa Skinner.
He was preceded in death by Wife: Ima Gene Apperson Ramirez Parents: Mr.
and Mrs. Alvin Leipesberger brother Henry and sister Florence.  Friends
will be received Monday, January 8 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in
Hammond from 9:00a.m. until services.  Services will be held at the funeral
home chapel, Monday, January 8, 2007 at 11:00a.m.  Interment will follow in
the Garden Of Memories, Metairie, LA 70001-5653.  Email condolences to:
