RAYNE, STELLA ALFORD
A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Loranger, she passed away at 
7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Summit Hospital at the age of 84.
Visitation was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 
5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation at the funeral home from 10 a.m.
until religious services at 1 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Stephen 
Fleming. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her beloved
husband of 61 years, Nemoure "Pap" Rayne; a daughter and son-in-law,
Carolyn and Ron Vendt of Prairieville; three grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren; and Caroline Myers of Atlanta, who is special to the family.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, Irene and Andrew Alford; three
brothers, Otis, Bud and Ozell Alford; and a sister, Zettie Baham.
