READ, PAT
Pat Read died at his home in Lee's Landing, Nov. 19, 2007.  He was born
Dec. 1, 1940 in New Orleans, son of the late Rome Banks Read and Grace
Howard VanNess.  He is survived by his former wife, Doris Read of Lee's
Landing; three children, namely Juliette McMurry and husband, Gilbert, of
Baton Rouge; David P. Read and wife, Dani Read, of Lee's Landing; and Capt.
Ashton J. Read and wife, Jessica M. Read, of Fort Hood, Texas; four
grandchildren, Aaron, Brandon and Samantha Read of Lee's Landing and Ashton
J. Read II of Ft. Hood, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Frank
Robin of St. Rose, Louisiana.  Mr. Read donated his body to medical
research. A family memorial will be held upon the return of his youngest
son from Iraq.
