She was 78. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Saturday. Religious service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Donald Blanchard. Entombment in Greenoaks Mausoleum. She is survived by her daughter, Annie Possa and fiancé John Stanley, Denham Springs; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles III and Marilynn Possa, St. Amant, and Joseph Charles Possa, Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Stephanie Possa, Baton Rouge, Shannon Carter, Denham Springs, and Charles Possa IV, Dominic Possa and Leaza Possa, all of St. Amant; a sister, Della Ryan, Ponchatoula; a special niece, Willie Mae Schwall, Slidell; a special nephew, Joe Traigle, Baton Rouge; and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Possa Jr. and Lacour John Reech. Pallbearers will be Dominic Possa, Joseph N. Traigle, Steven Beard, John L. Tyler, Roland Saurage and Richard P. Bullock. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Castine and the staff at Medical Oncology.
