Greensburg - Calvin W. Reeves, 36, died Dec. 7, 2001, in Greensburg as a result of a traffic accident. A native of Clinton and resident of Greensburg, he was a marine service technician and previously had worked for Ascension Marine in Gonzales, P.S.C. in Baton Rouge, and Allwaste in Walker. Survivors include two children, Kasey Collette Reeves and Lucas Boyd Reeves, both of Walker; his parents, Leslie "Skeet" Reeves and Linda Humphrey Reeves, both of Greensburg; his former wife, Michelle Shelton Reeves of Walker; and his grandmothers, Thelma Humphrey and Lois M. E. Reeves, both of Greensburg. A brother, William Boyd Reeves, preceded him in death as did his grandfathers, Rupert W. Reeves and Percy L. "Budd" Humphrey. Visitation will be at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, tonight from 6 to 10 and Monday from 8 until the funeral at 11 a.m. The Rev. Wilmer - Connie R. Reeves, 83, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at his home. He was a World War II veteran, having spent 16 months as a prisoner of war. He a member of Wilmer Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Jenkins; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of Denham Springs; and two sisters, Cecilia McDaniel, Franklinton, and Edith Templet, Baton Rouge.
