She was 27 and a native of Hammond. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at First United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Bill Willis Sr. and the Rev. John Lee. Interment in Amite Cemetery. Survived by her husband, David L. Resch, Naples, Fla.; parents, Earle and Susie Cefalu, Amite; a sister, Mary Cameron Cefalu-Simmons, Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Trey Cefalu, Amite; maternal grandparents, George and Alvis Juniel, Trinity, Texas; and a great-aunt, Helen Cefalu Brumfield, Amite. Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Earle and Ruth Cefalu. She was a graduate of LSU, a member of Kappa Delta sorority and a sales representative for Sysco Foods Distributor.
