Mrs. Restivo was born Saturday, May 2, 1931, in Independence, daughter of the late Angelo Samuel and Mary Ragusa Mannino. Mr. Restivo was born Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1924, in Tickfaw, son of the late Joe and Vita Pingo Restivo. They are survived by their sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph D. and Antha Restivo, and Angelo S. and Rosemary Restivo; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy R. Magee, Donna R. and Randy Morgan, and Rose "RoRo" and Kent Saxon; 12 grandchildren, Joseph Restivo Jr., Angelo "Sonny" Restivo Jr., Brad Restivo, JoMarie Williams, Shannon Fayard, Craig Magee, Holly Mulkey, Krissy Sturm, Clay Magee, Amber Restivo, Brookelynn Saxon and Bree Saxon; and 21 great-grandchildren. They also are survived by Mr. Restivo's siblings, Frank Restivo, Christine Castjohn, Pauline Abene and Phine Abene; and Mrs. Restivo's siblings, Laura Hebert, and Mike, Joe and Angelo Mannino Jr. They were preceded in death their son-in-law, Walter Magee; and Mr. Restivo's brother and sisters, Jim Migliccio, Mary Lamonte, Frances Lamonte, Lena Fallia, Margaret Loupe, Annie Restivo; and Mrs. Restivo's sister, Rose Marie Guzzardo; brother, Sam Mannino; and an infant brother, Rip Mannino. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond Thursday, May 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Services will be held at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, Friday, May 20, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Howard Adkins, officiating. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Richard Murphy Hospice House, 16013 Halbert Lane, Hammond, LA 70403.
