Retired from Gulf States Utilities, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 767 and former owner of Crossroads Grocery on Walker South Road in Walker, he died at 10:10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at his residence in Walker. He was 74 and a native of Independence. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home chapel, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with memorial services at 6 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Carl Sullivan. Survived by his wife, Jean Q. Reynaud, Walker; a daughter and son-in-law, Cyn.D. Reynaud and Kevin Romeo, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Morris J. III and Cynthia L. Reynaud, Diamondhead, Miss.; a sister, Thelma Blanchard, Denham Springs; seven grandchildren and spouses, Morris J. Reynaud IV, Michael J. and Kimberly Reynaud, Michelle J. and Tim Hoke, Micah and Brandon Romeo, Ollie Lee III and Teresa L. McAllister; four great-grand- children, Cameron, Colleen and Cailyn Reynaud and Jacob Hoke; and Sherri, Ronald and Aaron Palmer and Eric Bullock, whom he called his grandchildren; special friends, Dianna and Fredrick Wascom and Patti and Shirl Bullock; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph Morris Reynaud, mother, Bertha Jarreau St. Romain; a brother, Richard St. Romain Jr.; and a sister, Marie Elena Bredwell. The family wishes to thank Trinity Hospice and his nurse, Carolyn King, and Dr. Stephen Speeg and Dr. Thomas Richey.
