She was 100 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2250 Main St., from 12:30 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, celebrated by the Rev. Donald Blanchard. Entombment services at Colonial Cemetery, Independence, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Deacon Warren Fortenberry. Survived by a daughter and son-in- law, Jerry Rhea and Marion J. Cangelosi, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Felicie Genovese and Mrs. Frank Cucchiara, both of Hammond; three grandchildren, Celia Rhea Cangelosi, Paul M. Cangelosi, and David C. Cangelosi and wife Carolyn Crew Cangelosi; seven great-grandchildren, Lauren Claire Cangelosi, Leigh Ann Cangelosi, Lisa Rhea Cangelosi, Katie Elizabeth Cangelosi, Amiee Theresa Cangelosi, Camille Crew Cangelosi and Charles Frazier Cangelosi; and a great-great-grandson, Christian Paul Cangelosi. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Albert Rhea; parents, John and Philippa Orlanella Genovese; four sisters, Lillie Uli, Josephine Anzalone, Salina LaRock and Cecile Pecoraro; and five brothers, Martin, Tony, Sam and Dr. Charles Genovese and Joseph Biundo. Pallbearers will be Marion, Paul, David and Charlie Cangelosi, Capt. Mike Edmonson and Reginald McIntyre. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O.
