RICARD, LEROY, SR.
Leroy Ricard Sr., age 67, a native of Montpelier and resident of Kenner,
died at 7:20 a/m. on March 27 at Richard Murphy Hospice Home. He was a
carpenter.  He is survived by wife Shalonda Ricard of Texas and a number of
daughters: Pamela Ricard (Independence, LA), Latoya Ricard (Amite, LA)
Cynthia Robinson (California). He is also survived by goddaughter Melanie
Parker of Montpelier, LA, as well as two sons: Stephon Robinson (Amite,
LA), Leroy Ricard Jr. (Waveland, MS)  He is preceded in death by Climon
Ricard, Mae Helen Ricard, Tom Ricard, Carl Ricard, and Thaddeus Ricard.
Visitation was at Greater Refuge Temple Ministries on March 31 from 5p.m.
to 9 p.m. The funeral will be at the same place on April 1 at 11 a.m.
conducted by N.A. James Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Zion
Cemetery in Montpelier, LA.

RICARD, MAE HELEN
Montpelier - Mae Helen Ricard, 83, died July 27, 2002, at her home. She is
survived by three daughters, Mary R. Seals and Betty Parker, both of
Montpelier, and Doris East of Chicago; nine sons, Clemon Ricard Jr. of
Amite, Leroy Ricard of Kenner and Tom A., Frank, Joseph, Jessie, Johnny,
Carl and Ray Ricard, all of Montpelier; one sister, Emma Jean Taylor of
Marrero; one brother, Charlie Williams of Ponchatoula; and 40 grand-
children. Visitation will be at Morgan Chapel AME Church in Montpelier
today from 4 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Kermit Brown will conduct the funeral
Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. N.A. James Funeral
Home, Hammond, is in charge.

RICARD, NATHAN O.
Amite - Nathan O. Ricard, 62, died Friday, May 4, 2001, at his home. He is
survived by his wife, Mildred Ricard of Amite; one son, Craig Ricard of
Amite; one daughter, Natalie Ricard Franklin of Amite; one sister, Shirley
Rudison of Yorba Linda, Calif.; one brother, Charles Ricard of Gramercy;
and his mother, Anna Ricard of Montpelier. He was preceded in death by his
father, Joseph Ricard, and his grandparents. Visitation will be Wednesdy
from 5 to 9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite. The Rev. R. Foster will
conduct the funeral Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Free Will Baptist
Church, Montpelier. Burial will be in Butler's Cemetery, Amite.

RICARD, ROBERT EARL SR. 
Natalbany - Robert Earl Ricard Sr., 42, died Jan. 15, 2002.  He is survived
by his wife, Betty Joyce Ricard; five daughters, Donna and Renada Ricard of 
Norfolk, Va., Debra, Angela and Felicia Ricard, all of Natalbany; three
sons, Robert Jr., Jeremy and Bryan Ricard, all of Natalbany; four sisters,
three brothers and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visitation will be today at N.A.
James Funeral Home, Hammond, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday
at Gordon-Reimers Chapel, Natalbany, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Zion 
Cemetery, Montpelier.
