A loving husband, father and grandfather, he died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at his home in Amite. He was 67 and a native of Husser. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 458 for 43 years and a member of Shriners. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home in Amite on Monday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Genelle "Nell" Graham Rick; three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jon Dimiceli, Charlene and Jimmy Taylor, and Cindy and Darryl DiMiceli; a son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Tammy Rick; grandchildren, Lance and Karen Taylor, Micheal and wife Lynette Taylor, Leslie and husband Emile Rodriguez, Kelsey and Shelby DiMiceli, Charnell and Danielle DiMiceli, Brittany Milton, and Derrick, Chance and Cody Rick; great-grandchildren, Alleigh and Abigail Rodriguez, and Layla and Layne Taylor; four brothers, Joseph "Joe," Frank "Ed," Momoe and Freddie Rick; two sisters Jeannie Rogers and Leona Spackey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Rick Sr. and Martha Louise Rick; brother, Jimmy Rick; two sisters, Lorraine Clement and Winnie Lupo; a granddaughter, Jennifer DiMiceli; and a great-granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Rodriguez. Ott, Order of the Eastern Star, as well as a Knight Templar of the York Rite Freemason. He was responsible for many men in this area becoming Masons and was used by many as a mentor and an advisor. He dedicated many years to the Husser Community Center and founded Marick Inc., Husser. He touched many lives and his love for mankind will never be forgotten.
