He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Priscilla Mabile Rodrigue of Donaldsonville; three daughters and sons-in- law, Dorothy and Kenneth Melancon of Duplessis, Ann "Tugga" and Nicky Falsetta of Donaldsonville and Pansy and Kenneth Harvell of Baton Rouge; a brother, Roy Rodrigue of Belle Rose; two sisters, Alma Daigle Levron of Robert and Cecile Thibodeaux of Labadieville; grandchildren, Kevin and Laurie Templet, Kenneth Melancon Jr., Brad and Liz Falsetta, Ryan and Alicia Falsetta, Mike and Heather Falsetta, Grant Rodrigue, Paige Harvell and Ashley Harvell; a stepgrandchild, Rustin Guillot; great-grandchildren, Blane, McKenzie and Emmie Falsetta, Madeleine Templet and Alexander Templet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olezie and Hostilia Rodrigue; a son, Donald Rodrigue; brothers, Nicais, Eddie, Alvin, Alec and Gilbert; and sisters, Effie Rodrigue and Elonite Frawley. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was awarded the Bronze Service Star and Good Conduct Medal. He was wounded in Port Brest, France, in the Northern France Campaign during the Normandy Invasion, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Visiting was at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2004. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2004. Entombment in church cemetery.
