A retired warehouse foreman with American Building Maintenance of Louisiana Inc. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, at Lakewood Quarters. He was 79 and a native of Hammond. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Charity Christian Center, 650 W. McKinley St., from 5 p.m. Thursday until religious services at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Dr. Don Bradford and the Rev. Linda Bradford. Dismissal at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial in Mount Bethel Cemetery, Carville. Survived by his wife, Earline S. Rollins; two stepdaughters and stepsons-in-law, Priscilla S. Jones and the Rev. Lester Jones Jr., Baton Rouge, and Pamela and Jamal Cook, Fort Belvoir, Va.; three stepsons and two stepdaughters- in-law, Tyrone Schultz, and Douglas and Elaine Schultz, all of Baton Rouge, and Manual and Patricia Schultz, Huntsville, Ala.; two sisters, Estelle Rollins and Beatrice Fernado, both of Hammond; four godchildren, Toni Frazier, James McKenny, Damarcus and Kim Williams; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Florence Rollins; four sisters, Daisy Rollins, Lorenza Scott, Gussie Bell and Marie Johnson; and two brothers, Thomas and Hollis Rollins. Pallbearers will be family members. Mandeville - Marguerite R. Rollins, 81, died Monday, March 1, 2004. A native of Covington, she was a food service worker. She is survived by one sister, Mable Randle of Mandeville; and one brother, Hendry Randle of Covington. Her parents preceded her in death. The funeral was held today at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Mandeville. Burial was in Covington Cemetery, Covington.
