ROLUFS, HELEN ALVA AITKEN
Ponchatoula - Helen Alva Aitken Rolufs, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at
Belle Maison Nursing Home. She was a native of New Orleans. Survivors
include two daughters, Shannon Spiller, Nashville, Tenn., and Roberta
Connelley, Ponchatoula; and three grandchildren. Her husband, Fred Rolufs;
and a grandson preceded her in death. Visitation will be at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11.
The Rev. Justin Kauchak will conduct the service, and burial will be in St.
Patrick's Cemetery No. 2 in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests memorial Masses at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 330 W. Pine St.,
Ponchatoula 70454
