ROME, CALEB MICHAEL
Precious son of Christopher and Sara Rome of Ponchatoula, Caleb passed 
away on Sunday July 18. 2010. Although he was with us for a short time, 
Caleb left us many lasting memories.  His parents survive him, along with 
two big sisters, Brelynn Hughes and Kyilee Hughes; paternal grandparents, 
Richard Thompson, Clark and Joann Harwood, Rufus and Judy Sticker; maternal 
grandparents, Keith and Carla Hughes; maternal great-grandmother, Pearlie 
May Hughes. He also leaves behind many loving, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Caleb in death were his paternal grandmother, Edith Rome; 
paternal great-grandparents, Evelyn Sibley and Daniel Rome; maternal great-
grandfather, Rufus Hughes.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited 
to attend the funeral service at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home on 
Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 
9:00 a.m. Rev. Melvin Adams will officiate the services and interment will 
follow in Alvin J. McKinney Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial 
donations may be made to Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Hammond.

ROME, JIMMIE JOSEPH
Jimmie Joseph Rome, 61, of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at his
residence.  He was born in LaPlace, son of the late Clincy and May Kliebert
Rome.  Surviving are 3 sisters, Mary Rome, Betty Townsend, and Diane
Montegut; 2 brothers, Jerry Rome and Danny Rome; and a long time companion,
Glenda L. Drude.  The 11 a.m. graveside services will be held on Tuesday,
June 19, 2007, at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace, LA.  Harry McKneely &
Son in charge of Arrangements.

ROME, TERRI ANN 
A resident of Ponchatoula, she died Monday, May 9, 2005, at her home. She
was 38, a former cosmetologist and assistant manager with Fantastic Sam's
in Ponchatoula, and a native of Lutcher. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, on Wednesday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m.
until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Mitchell Cemetery,
Ponchatoula. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Dixie Catoire Rome,
Ponchatoula; sister, Bridget Rome Frahm, Montz; twin brother, Jerry Rome
Jr., Ponchatoula; and niece, Ashlyn Renee Frahm, Montz. She was preceded in
death by her grandparents, Clincy and May Kliebert Rome, and Leon and
Birdie Hoover Catoire. She was a 1985 graduate of Ponchatoula High School.
