ROPPOLLO, MARY SPITALE
A loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, she died at
10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, in Zachary. She was a native of Amite
and resident and longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Greenoaks
Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 10 a.m. until religious service in
the chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, R.J. and Marie Roppollo; a sister,
Maggie LaPorte; two brothers, Guy and Vince Spitale; a grandchild, Chris
Brignac; two great-grandchildren, Lauryn and Beau Brignac; and numerous
nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Nick P. Roppollo; a
sister, Francis Spitale; and four brothers, Tony, Joe, Sam and Santo
Spitale.
