ROSETTA, ROY
Roy Rosetta, 93, of Groves, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday,
Jan. 16, 2003, at Park Place Medical Center, Port Arthur, Texas. A
gathering of family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at
Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., with recitation of the
rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. to 
10:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Cathedral at 
11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Joseph Steffes officiating. Interment in
Roselawn Memorial Park. A native of Tickfaw, he lived in Port Arthur and
Groves since 1932. He was a retired pipe fitter with the Texaco Refinery in
Port Arthur with 41 years of service. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge in
Port Arthur for many years. He is survived by his son, Roy Rosetta and wife
Barbara of Nederland, Texas; four sisters, Rosie McGuyer and Katie
Campbell, both of Crockett, Texas, Josie Corona of Zachary, and Mary Zarara
of Henderson, Nev.; grandchildren, Reina Bernfels and husband Gary, Rob
Rosetta, Stephanie Castleman and husband Dale, Kevin Rosetta and wife Capra
and Robert Davis; and great-grandchildren, Dustin Bralish, Nicole Bralish,
Jessica Sonier, Brittany Castleman, Kaitlin Rosetta and Kendall Rosetta.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church,
211 Hardy Ave., Nederland, TX 77627. Broussard's Funeral Home, Nederland, 
in charge of arrangements.
