Port Allen - Elex R. "Happy" Roshto, 79, died Monday, July 24, 2000, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid-City. He was a native of Pineville, a member of South Baton Rouge Church of Christ and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ethel Doiron Roshto, Port Allen; four daughters, Fay Covington, Brusly, Fern Connor and Florie Robertson, Port Allen, Frieda Terpenning, Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Ray "Ed" Roshto, French Settlement, Randy Roshto, Baton Rouge; stepdaughter, Kelli Jarreau, Brusly; stepson, Roger Doiron, Brusly; two brothers, E.J. Roshto, Birmingham, Ala., Carlisle Roshto, Colyell; 18 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren. His wife, Lizzie Belle "Beth" Warner Roshto; daughter, Judith Roshto; a sister and two brothers preceded him in death. The Rev. Alfred L. Roshto conducted the funeral this afternoon at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, and burial was in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. ***************************************************************************
