She was 88 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., led by Josie Labertto. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Friday, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Moroney. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Connie and Bill Cotten of Mandeville, Therese Rosso and Francine and Glen Constantino, all of Baton Rouge, and Johnette and Pat Rettig of St. Francisville; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathleen Rosso of Houston; 14 grandchildren, Sheryl Escude, Richard Cotten, Jeff Cotten, Michelle Fresina, Stephanie Crochet, Debbie Taylor, Carla Carusone, Glen Constantino, Melany Constantino, Wade Rettig, Gabrielle Kuhlow, Luke Rettig, Tara Rosso and Joelle Breaux; 19 great- grandchildren; and a brother, Emile Noto of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Rosso; her parents, John B. and Theresa Correnti Noto; three brothers, Ben Noto, Dr. Joe Noto and Pete Noto; and two sisters, Gennie Miranda and Sara Leggio. Pallbearers will be her five grandsons and two great-grandsons, Jason May and Mark Charles Escude. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and Ladies Altar Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Chapter Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3616 S.
