ROUBIQUE, ANGELO ROBERT
A resident of Independence, he died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Lakeview
Regional Medical Center. He was 64 and a native of Erwinville. Visiting at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at Mater
Dolorosa Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Paul
McDuffy. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Jean
Hanegan Gajan Roubique, Independence; two sons, Vincent Roubique,
Independence, and Robert Roubique, Hammond; four grandchildren, Angela, 
Robbie, Alison and Corey Roubique; two sisters, Rosemary Hall, Antioch,
Tenn., and Evelyn Vicknair, Baton Rouge; a brother, Vic Roubique, Baton
Rouge; four stepdaughters, Patti Anderson, Gonzales, Wendy Bradley,
Hendersonville, N.C., Elaine McManus and Dawn Gajan, both of Baton Rouge;
five stepsons, Chipper Gajan, Geismar, Hokie Gajan, Mandeville, Andy Gajan,
Owensville, Robert Gajan, Baywood, and Alton Gajan, Zachary; 26 step-
grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife, Phyne Fresina Roubique; a
daughter, Ann Roubique; parents, Frank and Angelina Scarsone Roubique; a 
sister, Marie Roubique Thigpen; and a brother, Blanchard Roubique.

ROUBIQUE, PHYNE ANN FRESINA
A resident and native of Independence, she died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at
her home. She was 60. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m.
Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday. Religious services
at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Interment in Colonial Cemetery. Survived by husband, Angelo Roubique,
Independence; two sons, Vincent F. Roubique, Independence, and Robert M.
Roubique, Hammond; parents, Vincent and Anna Mae Carona Fresina,
Independence; two sisters, Mary Misuraca, Port Allen, and Judy Jones, Baton 
Rouge; four grandchildren, Angela Roubique, Robbie Roubique, Alison
Roubique and Corey Roubique; and numerous other relatives. Preceded in
death by a daughter, Marilyn Ann Roubique.
