She suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. She was born in Baton Rouge, was a senior at Doyle High School and president of two organizations. She was also a member of Livingston First Baptist Church and a youth group leader. Survivors include her father, Keith Rowe; her mother, Tammy Hughes Rowe; her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Betty Hughes; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Alford Rowe; and a brother, Adam Rowe. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Judge Samuel Rowe. Visitation will be today at Livingston First Baptist Church from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until Tim Norris and R.E. Clark conduct the funeral at 11. Burial will be in Gateway Gardens Memorial Park in Livingston. A retired judge of the 21st Judicial District Court, having served from 1978 through 1988, he died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at his home in Livingston. He was 69 and a native of Hermitage, Ark. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment in Alford Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by his wife, Shirley Alford Rowe; a daughter, Gina McKnight; a son, Keith A. Rowe; a brother, H.Y Rowe; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. W.C. Rowe and Eula Rowe; a sister, Jane Moises; and a brother, the Rev. Gerald Rowe. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and a law degree from Loyola Law School.
