ROWE, JULIE DeANN
Livingston - Julie DeAnn Rowe, 17, died Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at
Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She suffered from Cystic Fibrosis. She was
born in Baton Rouge, was a senior at Doyle High School and president of two 
organizations. She was also a member of Livingston First Baptist Church and
a youth group leader. Survivors include her father, Keith Rowe; her mother,
Tammy Hughes Rowe; her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Betty Hughes; her
paternal grandmother, Shirley Alford Rowe; and a brother, Adam Rowe. She
was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Judge Samuel Rowe. 
Visitation will be today at Livingston First Baptist Church from 6 to 
10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until Tim Norris and R.E. Clark conduct
the funeral at 11. Burial will be in Gateway Gardens Memorial Park in
Livingston. Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, is in charge.

ROWE, SAMUEL T.
A retired judge of the 21st Judicial District Court, having served from
1978 through 1988, he died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at his
home in Livingston. He was 69 and a native of Hermitage, Ark. He was a U.S.
Marine Corps veteran. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 
10 a.m. Friday. Interment in Alford Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by his
wife, Shirley Alford Rowe; a daughter, Gina McKnight; a son, Keith A. Rowe;
a brother, H.Y Rowe; and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by his
parents, the Rev. W.C. Rowe and Eula Rowe; a sister, Jane Moises; and 
a brother, the Rev. Gerald Rowe. He received a bachelor of arts degree from
Southeastern Louisiana University and a law degree from Loyola Law School.
