Dianna was born Monday, May 18, 1959, in Houston. Surviving are her husband, Britton "Bo" Rowell; four daughters, Joni Rowell Lachney, Rebecca Rowell Mixon, Samantha "Sambo" Rowell and Elizabeth Lottie Rowell; son, Britton "BoBo" Rowell II; three sisters, Dorothy Murphy, Della Love and Minewa Ward; brother, Albert Brown; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Brown and Patricia Young Brown; and brother, Alfred Earl Brown. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Monday, Sept. 11, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Rusty Silvertooth officiating. Interment in the Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who touched many lives with her courageous spirit. Ginger was a member of Little River Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ray Rowell; son, Troy Rowell and wife Amber; grandson, Braylon Rowell; step-grandson, James Brewer all of Tickfaw. Ginger also leaves to cherish her two sisters, Joann Hayden of Tickfaw, Pearl Haberkorn and husband Jerome of Seymour TN; one brother, CA Jones and wife Sheila of Kentwood. Preceding Ginger in death were her parents, Allen and Mildred Jones of Tickfaw; mother-in-law, Frances Rowell; father-in-law, Leslie William Rowell.
