ROWLEY, BURTON GORDON
Burton Gordon Rowley died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Heritage
Manor of Baton Rouge. He was 79, a native of Tangipahoa Parish and a
resident of Kentwood. He was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Visitation at Kentwood Assembly of God, Kentwood, was on Tuesday, March 6,
from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until religious service
at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Don Tate. Interment in Spring Creek
Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Lila Easley Rowley, Kentwood; son,
J.W. Rowley, Bellevue, Fla.; two daughters, Patricia "Patsy" Rowley Hall,
Baton Rouge, and Lisa Rowley Evans, Tomball, Texas; sister, Carolyn Rowley
Brown, Kingston, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, four
great-great-grandchildren; niece, Romalda Rowley Tate; and nephew, Ken
Rowley. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Gordon Rowley; parents,
Elzie Burton and Emma Ruth Lewis Rowley; and two brothers, Berlie "Snag"
Rowley and Rayford Rowley. Arrangements by McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood.

ROWLEY, LILA R.
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 12:46 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at 
Promise Hospital of Baton Rouge in the Ochsner Campus. She was 83, born 
Nov. 1, 1927, in East Fork. Visitation at Kentwood Assembly of God on 
Monday, Dec. 13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation continues at the church 
Tuesday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., 
conducted by the Rev. Don Tate. Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Spring 
Creek. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia "Patsy" Rowley Hall and 
her husband, Gerald, Baton Rouge, and Lisa Rowley Evans and her husband, 
Jere, Tomball, Texas; son, Jay Rowley and his wife, Sharon, Belleview, Fla.; 
three sisters, Estelle Martino, Baton Rouge, Joy Easley, East Fork, and Beth 
Blazo, Osyka, Miss.; two brothers, John Easley, Osyka, and Ronald "Dick" 
Easley, East Fork; 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, 
Burton Rowley; parents, Fred Cleveland Easley and Lilly Inez Dykes Easley; 
son, Richard Gordon Rowley; three sisters, Frances Potts, Audrey Redmond 
and Floy Dell Easley; and four brothers, Bobby Easley, Hank Easley, Fred

ROWLEY, RICHARD G.
A resident of Tickfaw, he died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at
Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, Independence. He was 47 and a native
of Centreville, Miss. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday. Religious services at
the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Larry Goings. 
Interment in Spring Creek Cemetery, Spring Creek. Survived by his parents,
Burton and Lila Easley Rowley, Kentwood; two sisters, Lisa Evans and
Patricia Hall, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Jay Rowley, Naples, Fla.;
two nieces and six nephews; former wife, Delores Rowley, Tickfaw; a
stepson, Jamie Pechon, Tickfaw; and two grandsons.
