She was 92, a homemaker, a resident of Port Allen and a native of Pointe Coupee Parish. Visiting at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Henry Vavasseur, celebrant. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Albert Carson, Slaughter; son and daughter-in-law, Russell "Tony" Rozarto and fiancé Margaret Richard, both of Pointe Coupee; two sisters, Una P. Hunt, Zachary, and Beatrice P. Rost and husband Claude Sr., Amite; brother, J.E. "Ted" Pourciau, Pointe Coupee; four grand- children, Joseph "Rusty" Rozarto, Kellie M. Rozarto, Christopher J. Carson and Joseph L. Carson; two great-grandchildren, Hallie A. Rozarto and Gracie M. Rozarto; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rozarto; parents, Faustin and Anita Amond Pourciau; seven brothers, Ivy, Wallace Sr., Norman Sr., Faustin "T-Fose," Harry, John and George Pourciau; and sister, Hilda Causey. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Rusty Rozarto, Christopher Carson; and nephews, Gary Hunt, Norman Pourciau Jr., Claude Rost Jr., Floyd Pourciau and Wallace Pourciau Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Carson, Daryl Rost and Kurt Pourciau. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church Prayer Line.
