RUGUSA, MAMIE ELIZABETH LABRUZZA
A resident of Hammond, she died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. She was 88 and a native of Franklin. Visiting at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Monday,
conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
Survived by a daughter, Carmelite R. Crapanzano, Hammond; a son, 
Michael R. Rugusa, Hammond; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a 
great-great-grandchild, two stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grand-
children. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Raymond Rugusa; a son, Louis
J. Rugusa; three sisters, Lucy Cashio, Josie Thomas and Bessie Baglio; and
three brothers, Johnny, Frank and Charles LaBruzza.
