RUMFALO, SAM D.
A resident of Tickfaw, LA, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at North Oaks 
Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born September 6, 1927 in Clearfield 
County, PA and was 82 years of age. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, 
Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. 
on Saturday. Religious Services at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church at 
10:00AM Saturday. Services conducted by Fr. Howard Atkins. Interment 
Colonial Cemetery, Independence, LA.  Survived by 2 daughters, Linda Faye 
Rumfalo Crosby and her husband, Richard, Bush, and Diane Morgan Rewis and 
her husband, James, Ponchatoula, 2 sons, Joseph Dominick Rumfalo and Ellen 
Belinda Addison, Independence, and Frank Salvadore "Bimbo" Rumfalo, 
Independence, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-
grandchild, brother, Frank Rumfalo. Preceded in death by wife, Gertrude 
Sharp Rumfalo, parents, Rosalie and Jack Rumfalo, 5 sisters, Frances 
Rumfalo Weems, Lena R. Drago, Nancy Costanza, Theresa Norman, and Catherine 
Call, 1 brother, Jack Rumfalo, and granddaughter, Rose Marie Crosby. For an
