She was 91, a native and resident of Amite and a former resident of Macon, Ga. Mrs. Josie is survived by a sister, Mrs. Marie Vullo Giardina and husband Angelo J., Amite; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sagnibene; parents, Anthony and Maria Cavaretta Vullo; son, Joey Sagnibene; daughter, Maria Sagnibene; six sisters, Rose V. Cacciatore, Laura V. Sagnibene, Susie V. Spera, Mamie Vullo, Pamela V. Girgenti and Antoinette V. Carter; and three brothers, Russell, Joseph and Leon Vullo. Visitation at McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on Monday, Nov. 8, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home, Macon, Ga., on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Macon, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. She was 90, a resident of Kentwood and a former resident of Amite. Visitation was at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Friday. Religious service at St. Helena Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Angelena and Fred Bourgoyne, Kentwood, and Marie and Kenneth Russell Jr. and Jean and Randy Ransom, all of Baton Rouge; a son, Frank J. Sagnibene, Amite; 11 grandchildren, Fred Bourgoyne Jr., David Bourgoyne, Kenneth Russell III, Randy Ransom Jr., Patrick Ransom, Frank J. Sagnibene Jr., Sammy Sagnibene, Sherry Williams, Laura Russell Montandon, Christie Russell Bennett and Sondra Baham; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; five sisters, Josie V. Sagnibene, Macon, Ga., Pamella Girgenti, Rockford, Ill., Mamie Vullo, Antionette Carter and Marie Giardina, all of Amite; and a brother, Leon Vullo, Hammond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Sagnibene; parents, Anthony and Maria Vullo; two sisters, Rose Cacciatore and Susie Spera; and two brothers, Russell Vullo and Joseph Vullo.She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and St. Helena Catholic Church.
