She was born on Wednesday, April 6, 1955, in Hammond, daughter of the late Sam and Georgette Lutife Saik. She is survived by her two sisters, Debbie Saik and Patti Saik. Friends will be received Saturday, December 26, 2009, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 26, 2009, at 11:00 am, with Fr. Paul Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery. She was 87 and a native of Toledo, Ohio. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 1 p.m. until funeral service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, conducted by the Rev. Paul Bailey. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Saik Stassi and Denise Saik, both of Hammond, and Patti Saik, Bay St. Louis, Miss.; and a sister, Violet Lutife Samaha, Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Saik; parents, George and Minnie Abdelnour Lutife; two sisters, Margaret and Lucille; and three brothers, George, Mitchell and Eli. Pallbearers will be Johnny Samaha, Johnny Stassi, V.J. Stassi, Tommy McCormic, Kevin McCormic and Brian McCormic.
