HARVEY - Philip D. Saladino Sr., 55, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at his Harvey residence. He was a native of New Orleans and an electrician with IBEW Local 130. He was a member of the Italian American Society. Survivors include his wife, Susan Cash Saladino; his children, Philip D. Saladino Jr., Sam Joseph Saladino and Joseph Jude Saladino; his parents, Philip James Saladino and Lillian Monistere Saladino; his sisters, Judy Saladino Daigle and Joyce Saladino Spera; and two grandchildren. His brother, Michael James Saladino, preceded him in death. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Saladino; three sons, Vincent D., Kenneth J. and Steven G. Saladino; two daughters, Mary Ann Romano and Bernadette Saladino; two brothers, Albert and Sam Monistere; two sisters, Lena C. Alfonso and Lillian Saladino; six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandson and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michaeli Angelo and Pelegrina Nicolosi Monistere; four brothers, Chris, Charles, Joseph and Anthony Monistere; and four sisters, Mary Ann Cook, Mary Lucy DiMaggio, Catherine Saladino and Mary Galiano. Visitation will be today at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, from 6 to 11 p.m. and Monday from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Harvey.
