SALISBURY, AUGUST WILLIAM  "AUGIE"  

A retired millwright and a resident of Hammond, he died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, 
at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 66 and a U.S. Navy veteran. 
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond from 9 a.m. until 
religious service at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Dr. Rodney Taylor. Interment 
in Bankston 4th Ward Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Mary Jean Coates Salisbury, 
Hammond; a son, Tony Salisbury, Robert; and two stepsons, Marty Coates, Dothan, 
Ala., and Chad Coates, Monroe. Preceded in death by his mother, Rita Salisbury.
