SAMBOLA, MARIE MEYER
Marie Meyer Sambola, 89 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, formerly of New 
Orleans, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Landmark Nursing Center. 
Marie was born on Friday, January 11, 1924, in New Orleans. Surviving are 
daughter, Mary Borgen, daughters & sons-in-law, Arlene Perez (Mike), Pamela 
Sambola (George) and Emily Castoqnetta (Nick), sons & daughters-in-law, 
Walter Sambola (Judy), Michael Sambola (Lisa), Mark Sambola (Jan), David 
Sambola (Darlene), sister, Loretta Hamburger, also survived by numerous 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, 
Walter Sambola, parents, Anthony and Marie Riemer Meyer, sisters, Catherine 
Meyer, Clara Guzdziol, brothers, Anthony and Louis Meyer. Friends will be 
received Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry 
McKneely & Son in Hammond. A memorial service will be held at Harry 
McKneely & Son Hammond, Saturday, at 11:00 am. The family would like thank 
to the staff and administration of Landmark Nursing Home. An on-line guest
