"BUZZ" Charles Lee "Buzz" Sanders Sr., 70, of the Line Creek community, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at his residence. Born Dec. 5, 1933, in Kentwood, he was the son of William Charles Sanders and Esther Cohoon Sanders. He was retired from the state of Louisiana, where he worked 16 years as a legislative auditor. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer, trustee and deacon, and a member of Kentwood Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gary Lee Sanders; a sister, Rowena Sanders Hurst; and his father-in-law, Pat Dick. He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Patsy Dick Sanders of the Line Creek community; a son, Charles L.
