She was 82 and a native of Independence. Visitation at St. Helena Catholic Church, Amite, from 9 a.m. until religious services at noon Friday, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence. Survived by a daughter, JoAnne Faust, Amite; a son, Nick Savarino III, Amite; a sister, Mary Gennaro, Amite; and two grandchildren, Natalie and Brandon Faust.
