She was 82 years old, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation will take place at St. Thomas More Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013. Mass will be conducted by Father Tom Duhe'. Tickfaw -- Michael Lee Scardina Sr., 57, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at his home. A native of Hammond, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Sept. 19, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 20, which would have been her 72nd birthday. She was a member of Comite Baptist Church. Mollie will be remembered most by her incredible smile, her love of family, friends and neighbors, and her genuine hospitality to all. Her zest for life was reflected in the colorful array of flowers she displayed in her yard. Her community involvement was far-reaching and her absence will be felt in many ways. She was a longtime member of the Magnolia Chapter of the East Baton Rouge Parish Volunteers for Family and Community.
