SCHANIL, LORENA COWART 

LIVINGSTON - Lorena Cowart Schanil, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at her 
home. She was a native of Pride and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 
Albany. Survivors include two sisters, Irena C. Boyd and Inez C. Young, Albany; 
six brothers, Joseph A., Wilford "Red," Wilton, Floyd and Leroy Cowart, Albany,
Ellis Cowart, Basile. Her husband, Adolph P. Schanil; infant brother, Clyde Cowart; 
and infant sister, Annie Lee Cowart, preceded her in death. Visitation will be at 
Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, tonight from 6 to 9 and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until
the funeral at 11. The Rev. Joe Dunn will conduct the service, and burial will be 
in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Albany.
