SCHANZBACH, WILLIE LEE
Willie Lee Schanzbach, 91 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away, 
Monday, April 1, 2013, at her residence, after a long, courageous battle 
with cancer. She was born on Tuesday, November 15, 1921, in Crockett Bluff, 
Arkansas, daughter of the late William Peter Luebke and the late Sadie 
Rhodes Luebke. She was an avid Life Master bridge player and a member of 
St. Joseph Catholic Church of Ponchatoula. Surviving are husband of 67 
years, Dr. M.J. Deacon "Dutch" Schanzbach, son, Michael Schanzbach and wife 
Debbie, daughter, Patti Steib and husband Ronnie, grandchildren, Lisa 
Burton and husband Michael, Sandra Majesty, Brandon Schanzbach and wife 
Courtney, Brittany Schanzbach, great-grandchildren, Natalie Burton, Andrew 
Burton, Ryan Davis, Caeli Smith, Gabel Majesty and Carson Schanzbach, 
sister, Gladys Christensen and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded 
in death by her parents, brother, William "Buddy" Luebke and sister, 
Vernice Luebke Barnett. Friends will be received Thursday, April 4, 2013 
from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula.
Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 
11:00 am, with Fth. Cayet Mangiaracina officiating. Interment will follow 
in the Ponchatoula Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The family has 
requested, donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Ponchatoula, P.O. Box 368, Poncatoula, La., 70454, In Memory of Mrs. Willie 
Lee Schanzbach.
