SCHARWARTH, KENNETH P.
Ponchatoula -- Kenneth P. Scharwarth, 58, was buried Monday at Old Union
Cemetery, Amite. He died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at his home.  A native of
Manchac, he was pipefitter.  Survivors include his mother, Adele Robinson
of Ponchatoula; his wife, Melissa Mcleod Scharwarth; one daughter, Savanna
of Ponchatoula; three son, L.J. Scharwarth of Chicago, Larry Scharwarth of
Metairie and Kenneth P. Scharwarth II of Ponchatoula; four sisters, Dorothy
Schexnayder of LaPlace, Vivian Shelton of Tickfaw, Barbara McCarter of
Ponchatoula and Brenda Brumfield of Amite; one brother, Robert Scharwarth
of Ponchatoula; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He was
preceded in death by his father, Ralph J. Scharwarth; and one sister,
Carolyn Scharwarth.  Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, was in charge.
