SCHAUB, ELINOR S.  

LACOMBE - Elinor S. Schaub, 91, died Monday, March 12, 2001. She is survived 
by her husband, George J. Schaub Sr.; five gandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren. She was a native of New Orleans. She was preceded in death by 
two sons, James G. Schaub Sr. and George John Schaub Jr.; two brothers and 
four sisters. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hope Mausoleum, 
4841 Canal St., New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations 
be made to Slidell Memorial Hospice, 1045 Florida Ave., Slidell 70458. Schoen 
Funeral Home, Covington, is in charge.
