Debbie was born on Friday, March 30, 1956, in Oceanside CA. She was a corporate travel agent for Neil Corp. Surviving are husband of 30 years, Joseph "Joey" Schillace, daughter & son-in-law, Amy Tycer Smith and Guy Smith, daughter, Brindly Schillace, sons, Keaton Tycer and Jordan Schillace, grandchildren, Ty Smith, Gage Smith and Ava Addison, also survived by one brother and three sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Services will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Tuesday, at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum Hammond, Louisiana. She was born in Garyville, Louisiana on Monday, July 17, 1916, daughter of the late Franco Ligori and Virgentio Nastasia Ligori. She was a retired Custodian with Southeastern Louisiana University. Survivors include her son, Frank Schillace, 3 grandchildren, Donna Schillace, Joey Schillace, IV, and Johnny Schillace, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Ned" Schillace, Jr. and a son, Joseph Schillace III; 3 sisters, Antoinette Cashio, Lena Carey, and Mary Collette; a brother, Lawrence Legoria. Her memberships include Catholic Daughters of America and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. Visitation is scheduled Monday, July 9, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Monday, Fr. Cayet Mangiaracina, O.P., Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond.
