SCHLIEGELMEYER, WILLIE LEE BROWN
Willie Lee Brown Schliegelmeyer, 82, of Ponchatoula, passed away Thursday, 
July 21, 2011. She was born Thursday, Dec. 27, 1928, in Springfield, 
daughter of the late Paul and Amelia Badeaux Brown. Survived by four sons 
and daughters-in-law, Jimmy John and Evon Schliegelmeyer, Charles Rodney 
and Johnnie Schliegelmeyer, William Gary and Nancy Schliegelmeyer, and John 
Herman Jr. and Rhonda Schliegelmeyer; three daughters and sons-in-law, 
Katherine Rose and Paul Deslatte, Susan Marie and Ronald Wall, and Mary Ann 
and Merlyn Wells Jr.; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many 
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Herman 
Schliegelmeyer Sr.; son, Paul Herman Schliegelmeyer; grandson, Kevin 
Deslatte; great-granddaughter, Tabitha Schliegelmeyer; five brothers and 
three sisters. Friends will be received at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 
Ponchatoula, on Saturday, July 23, from 9 a.m. until a funeral Mass at
11 a.m. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Memorial contributions 
may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. A guestbook is available at
