He was a native of Lumberton, Miss. He was a retired major of the Army Reserve with 20 years of service and was a member of the Army Air Corps serving in the Pacific Theater of World War II. He was the squadron commander of the 380th Bomb Group from 1943 until 1944 and a member of the Royal Australian Air Corps. He was the owner and president of Oliver-Treated Products. Active in civic organizations, he was a charter member and president of the Exchange Club of Hammond, national director of the Exchange Club, vice president of Central American Wood Preserves, member of the Hammond Industry Board, a former Lion's Club member, former president of the Hammond Executive Club, past president of the Army & Navy Club in New Orleans and an active supporter of the Istrouma Area Boy Scouts. He survived by his wife, Armida Seale of Hammond; two daughters, Francine Seale Dodson of Denham Springs, and Hazel Evelyn Seale of Mandeville; one son, Vaughn Seale of Hammond; two stepdaughters, Hillevi Zambo of Texas, and Sandra Duvic of Hammond; two stepsons, Alfredo Arcia of Arkansas, and Ramiro Arcia of Franklinton; seven grandchildren; and 10 step- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Seale; one brother, Douglas Seale; and one sister, Jean Forte. The funeral was today at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice. Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, was in charge. ***************************************************************************
