ENID LIONS SIMS A resident of Hammond, she died Friday, May 6, 2005, at her home. She was 91 and a native of Madisonville. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, Monday, May 9, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Robert Sims, Savannah, Ga., and Joe Arthur Sims Jr. and Julia Brumfield Sims, Ponchatoula; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Scotty Sims Johnson and James Johnson, Denver; grandson, William Sims, New York; and a sister, Audrey L Alexius, Covington. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Arthur Sims; second husband, Alfred R. Sears; parents, Alphonse and Galatas Olympia Lions; and three sisters, Merci Shaw Belanger, Minnie Hebert and Gloria Jones. "She lived life to its fullest."
