SELLE, VICTORINE L.

A resident of Hammond, she died at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2001, at North 
Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 80 and a native and former resident of 
New Orleans. Visitation at Cornerstone Church, Amite, from 10 a.m. until 
religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by Brother Sam Leto. 
Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, New Orleans, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. 
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Selle and Rene Ponsaa, Amite; two 
sisters, Lena Golemi, Covington, and Jennie Tarleton, New Orleans; four 
grandchildren, Sheryl Gauthreaux, Ponchatoula, and April Hayden, Rene Ponsaa 
III and Brad Ponsaa, all of Amite; and four great-grandsons, Robert Gauthreaux 
Jr., Ponchatoula, Corey Hayden, Amite, Gayden Gauthreaux, Ponchatoula, and 
Grant Hayden, Amite. Preceded in death by her husband, Peter E. Selle. 
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, in charge of arrangements.
