EDNA RUTH AINSWORTH Mrs. Edna Ruth Ainsworth Sharon, 81, of Baton Rouge died Monday, May 2, 2005, at Regency Place. She was a homemaker and a native of Hammond. She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Marilyn and Harold Smith and Sheryl and Virgil Palmer; son, Ronald Bass; two sisters and a brother-in- law, Bernice Freeman, and Marquerite and John Purpera; nine grandchildren, Mark, Michele, Cayla, Brandon, Michael, Jessica, Jody, David and Lisa; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel; parents, John and Lessie Ainsworth; two brothers, J.W. and George Ainsworth; and four sisters, Willie Mae Beard, Clovis Lougue, Drucile Carrillo and Helen Knapp. God bless the wonderful staff at Regency Place and John and Dot McLaughlin for their kindness. Visiting was on Tuesday, May 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wilson-Wooddale Funeral Home, 1553 Wooddale Blvd. Visiting on Wednesday, May 4, in the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. ***************************************************************************
