She was born on Tuesday, January 28, 1930, in Romania, daughter of the late Adolf and Ida Nauenburg Neubauer. She attended Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile, AL. Surviving are her daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa and Glenn Rosson, Petra and Brian Harper, step-daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Authur Rodrigue, 7 grandchildren, sister, Lola Warschewski, sisters and brothers- in-law, Anna and Rudy Kuhn, Else and Karl Schrade. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Shettlesworth Jr., an infant daughter, Hazel Shettlesworth and 6 sisters, and 3 brothers. Friends will be received on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel in Hammond on Monday, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bray Sibley officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana. Joseph P. Shettlesworth Jr., 82 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, January 12, 1927, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Shettlesworth was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Alida Neubauer Shettlesworth; daughter, Linda Johnson; daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa and Glenn Rosson, Petra and Brian Harper; 6 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Robert "Bruce" Shettlesworth, Bennie Shettlesworth, Richard Vinton Jr.; 5 sisters, Georgia Koonce, Virginia Fitez, Mary Sams, Peggy McFarland and Margie Work. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Shettlesworth Sr.; mother, Mildred S. McConnell; and an infant daughter, Hazel Shettlesworth. Friends will be received Thursday, November 5, 2009, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
