SHINN, CORNELIA 

AMITE - Cornelia Shinn, 85, died Monday, May 12, 2003. She was a native of Amite. 
Survivors include, one daughter, Helen Shinn of Warren, Ohio; two sons, Eddie 
Nelson and Billy Johnson, both of Amite; one brother, Jimmy D. Brooks of Fluker; 
13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents, four sisters, 
one brother and three grandchildren preceded her in death. Visitation will be 
Friday at Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, from 4 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Francis 
Williams will conduct the funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Butler's 
Cemetery, Amite.
