She was 82 and a native of Attala County, Miss. Visiting at Second Baptist Church, Jackson, 5 p.m. Thursday until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by three daughters, Polly Felker, Kentwood, Zula Louque, New Orleans, and Nell Partin, Jackson; seven sons, Melvin Dees, Jackson, Murvin Dees, Kosciusko, Miss., Jimmy Dees, Albany, Horace Dees, Greensburg, Harvey Dees, Kentwood, Johnny Shuff, Jackson, and Tommy Shuff, Decatur, Ark.; a sister, two brothers, 56 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands Houston Dees and Johnny Shuff; three daughters, Maxine Baham, Geraldine Allen and Louise Stinson; and a brother. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Jackson.
